The real name of the artist An Thuyen is Nguyen An Thuyen, born on August 15, 1949 in Quynh Luu, Nghe An. He was president of the Military University of Culture and Arts, permanent vice president of the Association Musicians of Vietnam, Mandate VII (2005-2010), and at the same time, he was also the first musician to be awarded the rank of Major General of the People’s Army, Vietnamese people.
