Following an online debate between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, both agreed to fight one another in a cage match. Now, UFC president Dana White has confirmed that they intend to follow through.

Mark Zuckerberg looked fit and strong on Tuesday after being seen training alongside UFC stars Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkannovski. He posted the picture with the caption ‘No fugazi with this guy; this is serious business’.

Facebook co-founder’s training session with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski

Mark Zuckerberg recently announced that he would fight Elon Musk in a cage match and since has been training with two UFC champions to prepare. Adesanya posted photos with both Adesanya and Volkanovski while Zuckerberg shared pictures on his Instagram page as well. Additionally, Adesanya posted his picture alongside Zuckerberg while Volkanovski shared pictures on his social media pages; Adesanya shared pictures as well. Meanwhile, Facebook CEO has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for some time, winning two medals during one tournament while sparring with Volkanovski earlier this year.

According to TMZ, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg spent several days training Adesanya and Volkanovski at his Northern California residence. Adesanya recently recaptured his title, while Volkanovski currently ranks fifth.

Photos show a chiseled-looking Zuckerberg wearing shorts and standing among Adesanya and Volkanovski. His toned physique shows just how much MMA training has transformed him, with Adesanya and Volkanovski sharing shirtless photos with him and adding hype for their potential fight. In his comments section, Zuckerberg thanked both athletes, praised their competitive spirit, and noted it had been “an honor” training with them; and added it was “an honor”. If this event comes off as planned it could break all pay-view records while raising hundreds of millions for charity!

Adesanya’s Instagram post

Following several weeks of Twitter jabs between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, it appears a cage fight may actually happen. Both billionaires appear to be training hard for such an encounter – with Zuckerberg sharing an Instagram photo showing him training alongside two top mixed martial arts fighters (MMA stars Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski, who together boast over 50 wins in UFC competition with only four losses between them).

This Instagram post caught the attention of fight fans who were impressed by Zuckerberg’s muscular physique and noted his training alongside two fighters from Team Meta – which included Musk accusing Meta of misusing Twitter intellectual property before creating their own rival platform. Meanwhile, tensions continue to build between Meta and Musk, who is accused of misappropriating its intellectual property while developing their new platform.

Adesanya, who is currently engaged in an UFC middleweight title bout against Anderson Silva, responded sarcastically to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s post about him coming fight him in the future. He encouraged Zuckerberg to face him soon.

Adesanya’s comments

Israel Adesanya has become one of the world’s best-known mixed martial artists and knows exactly how to sell a fight. Born and raised in Nigeria-New Zealand, Adesanya often makes controversial remarks during fights, often prompting his opponents to launch into heated battles that end with knockouts for Adesanya himself – yet has proved that he can take one himself.

Adesanya recently engaged in an exchange with South African fighter Du Plessis, who accused Adesanya’s comments as being racist. Adesanya apologized for his actions. While Yoel Romero may be his next title challenge at UFC 300.

Duncan Johnstone of Stuff magazine harshly criticized Adesanya’s choice of words in his latest article for Stuff. Johnstone labeled them as “trash talk at its worst”, from someone considered one of the top strikers in MMA who has won two consecutive fights and could become middleweight champion.

Mark Zuckerberg took to Instagram on August 7 to flex his muscles alongside Adesanya and Volkanovski in an Instagram post that has been liked over 12.1 million times. In it, the social media mogul can be seen standing between these fighters who boast 50 UFC wins to four losses combined and an accompanying caption reads, “No fugazi with Mark – this is serious business”. By this gesture, Zuckerberg may have alluded to recent chatter of an impending cage fight between himself and Elon Musk who operates Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX among others.

Musk’s Instagram post

Zuckerberg has often been seen training alongside various MMA fighters. Most recently, he trained alongside Mikey Musumeci of Mikey Musumeci’s Black Belt competition and World Champ Trainer Dave Camarillo of Dave Camarillo’s. Additionally, he accepted an offer to train alongside former UFC Champion Georges St-Pierre.

Zuckerberg remains confident in his ability to compete against most MMA athletes despite being much larger. He knows skill trumps size in this sport; an aspect which was highlighted in a recent Instagram post featuring sparring sessions between himself, Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski from UFC featherweight champion Israel Adesanya and middleweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

These pictures follow shortly after Elon Musk publicly challenged Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to a cage fight. These tech moguls have been embroiled in an intense rivalry over their respective social media platforms; Zuckerberg owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp while Musk manages Twitter and SpaceX.

As yet, no date or venue have been decided upon for the billionaire MMA bout; however, it seems likely to take place in Las Vegas given UFC President Dana White has indicated his intent of booking such an event and both Musk and Zuckerberg have expressed interest.

Meanwhile, both men are putting in hard training for the big matchup. Mark Zuckerberg posted this photo as further proof of his readiness. In recent weeks he posted several photos and videos showing himself training alongside real MMA fighters – such as Khai Wu (an actual fighter himself).
